Pearls in the Memories

My dear father,
Once again I want to lie on your chest,
listening to the rhythm of your heart beat.
I want you to be awake until I sleep.
I want to laugh so hard hearing your funny stories,
and to see the angry face of Mom for disrupting her sleep.
I want to laugh at brothers that you are mine,
and bet that you will be with me, not with them, in an argument.
I want to see their arguing face even when they know I'm right
and although they don’t care.
I want to walk so long and long gripping your fingers tight,
and with an ear listening to you and other listening for you.
I want to see the peoples' face wondering about our friendship.
Where all gone???
I want all these once again, only once, I won't ask more.
I know I am asking for a new childhood, An impossible one.
But I can’t stop myself from craving.
Oh my dear father,
I may grow bigger;
I may take decisions wise or unwise;
I may think logically or illogically;
I may obey u blindly or not;
I may argue with u or not;
In the core, I am still your silly little lass,
questing and teasing you for your nice stories.
I really want a travel back to my childhood,
to pick the pearls I have lost on half the way...
